Nepal: In the face of this loss, the hospitality is overwhelming

“People in Nepal so hospitable despite death and devastation after earthquake.” Read more…

Journey Nepal is a non-profit organization to help people engage with the humanitarian sector in Nepal and to “Make A Difference”.

Journey Nepal, May 12, 2015:

Everyone seems to be uninjured but the psychological toll is huge. Everyone is so anxious, especially now and whilst they seemed optimistic previously the tone is now very low and tired. People are again too scared to go into their homes.
Also the monsoon starts so, so all the people in temporary shelters will be at risk. The normal rain can be torrential and still water lying around brings disease – so that’s the next challenge.

Sad news from Fulkharka, a remote village in Dhading very near the epicentre of the earthquake. There are 5000 people and 920 families living here and almost all of them have lost everything.

Please support amazing people of Nepal – buy goods from the Journey Nepal wishlist. Items will be delivered directly to people who need them by a local retailer: http://gooddler.com/Wishlist/10053.
