Ben’s story

Hi, I’m Ben! I’m a 1 and a half-year-old Pointer/Pit Bull mix. I’m a friendly boy and I get along with other dogs and older kids. However, I would prefer to be the only dog in the home. I’d make a great hiking companion and love any adventures that involve water, I’m a great swimmer! Once I’m tired out, I’ll bury my face against your chest for some big time snuggles. My beginning is a bit sad-I came from a place where nobody took care of me, they say I was neglected, tied up and forgotten about with no food or water. I’m hoping to find a home where I can learn how it truly feels to be loved and safe. I’m very smart and would love to learn some new tricks! But most of all, I just want a kind human to spend quality time with. I have a lot of love to give, now all I need is for someone to just give me a chance.
