Miley Cyrus is always in the middle of controversy. In the last few years, she has been in the news for over the top content of her videos, scandalous performances and heavy partying. Thus, her move to give a stage to once homeless young man during her acceptance speech shocked many and made her a topic of yet another controversy. Was it done out of her good heart or was it just another PR move?

To tell you the truth, it shouldn’t really matter. What she did was a fabulous move to highlight a problem of homelessness among youth, and she did it well! In a matter of hours, My Friend’s Place, a homeless center for young people in Hollywood saw a huge increase in donations, something they couldn’t even dream about.
