We would not be able to achieve our goal of getting the items that are on our wishlist if it wasn’t for people like you, who are willing to help. We want to assure you that your gesture was noticed and is highly appreciated.
There never seems to be the right words to say to those that need comforting in the midst of a storm. But I know that by showing up for others when they are lost, burdened, or devastated, it is all that is needed. These last two weeks have been very tough on our community and surrounding counties. But I can tell you that as the storm rushed in, our community friends, lcisd employees, families friends and strangers we're bigger than hurricane Harvey!!! Everyone poured their heart and soul into long days to make sure that affected families had what they needed. What a wonderful country we live in. I am going to showcase all the pictures of precious moments throughout these past two weeks showing the compassion of many people, strangers who became friends for others. We at Common Threads could not have done it without the donations, prayers, volunteers and beautiful smiles. I bow down in gratitude for all the love you poured out to othets. WE LOVE YOU ALL AND APPRECIATE YOU MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW!
